Saccharicterpenin is a novel feed additive, extracted from Camellia L. plant. Saccharicterpenin is safe and effective. It was invented to substitute antibiotics in feeds at the beginning. It has gone through a long-time research by researchers from Zhejiang University and Tangtian co***ny, who undertook national research programs since 1994 to develop it, such as National Hi-tech R&D Program (863 Program), National New Product Program and etc.. The product was approved as a novel feed additive by the Ministry of Agriculture of China in as early as 1998. After the following years¡¯ R&D and product upgrading, the new generation of Saccharicterpenin was put into market in 2008.
Now, the key technology of Saccharicterpenin has awarded invention patents in 18 countries, such as China, Europe, USA, Japan and etc..
